Privacy policy
Your details,handled with care.
Last updated: October 2026. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
This website is run by Spring Dale International School, managed by the Prabhu Shyam Charitable Trust, Bye Lane 3, Sonkuchi Path, Beharbari Charali, NH 37, Guwahati, Assam 781029. We are the “data fiduciary” for the personal data described here.
What we collect, and why
- Admission forms (enquiry, campus tour, prospectus, fee structure): the parent’s name, mobile number and email, the class and day/hostel choice, and the tour date if you book one. We use these only to respond to you about admissions.
- Careers applications: your name, contact details, qualifications and CV, used only to consider you for roles at the school.
- How you found us: the page you came from or the ad you clicked (for example “Google Ads”). This tells us which channels work; it does not identify you on its own.
- Analytics cookies, only if you accept them in the cookie notice: anonymous statistics about how the site is used.
Your consent
Every admission form asks you to tick this statement before sending:
I agree to Spring Dale International School contacting me about admissions by phone, WhatsApp or email.
We record the exact wording and the time you agreed. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us (below); we will then stop contacting you.
Who sees it
Only named members of our admissions and office staff, through a secure staff portal protected by passwords and two-step verification. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing. Our website host and email provider process data on our behalf and only to run these services.
How long we keep it
Admission enquiries are kept for up to two admission seasons, then deleted. Careers applications are kept for up to one year. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.
Your rights
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or complete it.
- Ask us to erase it — we delete it from the staff portal and record that we did so.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
Children
Forms on this website are meant for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this website. Photos of students are published only with written parental consent.
